I’m sorry, what year is this? We’re in the 21st Century. We’re supposed to be better than this as a nation. If you read the comments below a lot of people are making ignorant comments about bathrooms, and god, and sexual assault and a lot of other nonsense. This is just a guy trying to go out and have a good time. Maybe he is Gay. So? Does that matter? Who’s business is that but his? The bouncer’s? Who’s he protecting by denying entry, women who wore the same outfit? I think this guy is incredibly brave going out like that in today’s hate-filled, fear-filled society. Trump has brought out the worst in some people, but not this guy, this guy is just a guy trying to go out and have fun. And what color, gender, or preference is his money? What kind of idiot turns away business and risks turning away more business? If this turns into a boycott they could be screwed. If I knew a business I went to didn’t want to associate with these customers I would stop going in solidarity. I had a business. There were some customers I didn’t like, mostly racist rednecks, but you know what, as long as they weren’t being asshole in my restaurant I served them. It’s not my place to judge people not worthy of service and their money was supporting my business. Shit like this is why I don’t go to Hobby Lobby or Chik Fila. I’ve actually never been to either one and I never will. I have zero interest in supporting companies who don’t support all people. It’s also why I don’t shop at Walmart.

But have these idiots ever heard of Prince, Elton John, David Bowie, Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson, and pretty much everyone else? Or history, have they heard about history? MEN started all those styles. Men wore dresses, skirts, high heels, make-up and all the rest. Maybe it’s because I’m surrounded by so many complete morons and I don’t like following the pack that I refuse to judge people other than racists and bigots. I hate being around people who hate people for things that are none of their business. you want to hate terrorist, go right ahead. You want to hate greedy corporations, go right ahead. You want to hate people who fuck up the planet, go right ahead. You want to hate people who abuse women, go right ahead. That sort of thing makes sense. But hating people because they’re not like you, because they like to dress like the opposite sex or be with the same sex: you, sir, are a moron. Go take a long walk off a short pier.
