Why does President Trump lie about his height and why is it so important to him?

He seems to have this thing with measurements. In this picture you can clearly see he’s lying about his height. In this picture you can see the actual inauguration pictures of his own vs President Obama. He clearly lies about these things, but what I’m interested in is WHY? When he was running he even assured the American people that he was hung like a horse, as if it even matters. The penis seize of the most powerful man on Earth has no bearing on anything at all, come to find out that was yet another lie.

Pretty much everything he measures himself against he comes up short, and it’s not like it’s hard to disprove the things he says, either. Like when he claimed the best employment record in history he left out a few details. What he did was equivalent to me handing him $5 then telling the world I made him wealthier than he’s ever been before., as if I was the one that did it. You can look up how much unemployment went down under Obama, and see how much further it went down under Trump, and the timing, and jobs track, and quite-easily see there’s not much to brag about. I mean under Biden it hit lower levels, 3.4% and there’s no fanfare from the Right for it. Further, Democrats usually inherit a shitty economy and really have to work to turn it around, like what happened to Obama, like what happened to Biden.

And it was funny, when Biden had the fastest recovery in U.S. history, Republicans were like, “But it doesn’t count, those were just the jobs that Trump lost”. I’ll take “Things Republicans never said when Trump took office for $600, Alex.” Before Trump won that election he was claiming the “real unemployment rate” was like 45%. Yes, he thought roughly one in two Americans were out of work. Shortly after he won he claimed now the numbers were real.

Other things we might be able to measure, like how well he actually did in school, but he’s threatened to sue anyone that releases those records. So, we can kind of assume what his grades looked like, and combined with statements from past professors, assume those are just more lies. Like his wealth: he claims to be a Billionaire, but refuses to prove it. Almost every single company he’s had filed bankruptcy and went out of business. So how good a businessman could he be if nothing with his name on it lasts? In Stamford, CT, about 20 minutes from me, they took his name off of the Trump Tower. From what I gather a lot of those buildings did.

I just don’t understand why the lies are so much more important than the truth. Is it a Napoleon-complex? Does the party prefer the lies to the truth? I mean this is only a few of the lies, there are many, many more. This emperor has no clothes.

How is it so many conservative Christians in the United States completely miss, or ignore the teachings of Jesus?

John Fugelsang famously said: “Jesus was a radical nonviolent revolutionary who hung around with lepers, hookers and crooks; wasn’t American and never spoke English; was anti-wealth, anti-death penalty, anti-public prayer (M 6:5); but was never anti-gay, never mentioned abortion, or birth control, never called the poor lazy, never justified torture, never fought for tax cuts for the wealthiest Nazarenes, never asked a leper for a copay; and was a long-haired brown-skinned homeless community-organizing anti-slut-shaming Middle Eastern Jew.”

Granted, it’s a little hyperbolic, but mostly on-point. I mean I keep reading things on the right like “God gave us gun rights” and I’m thinking, “Umm, no he didn’t. That would be the Founding Fathers.” Or they’ll say, “God hates Homosexuals.” and, again, I’ll be thinking, “No, he really doesn’t.” Everything about the weakest in our society, and elsewhere, they seem to blame on those people and claim God is punishing them for being lazy, stupid, illegal, LGBTQ, not White, or whatever they think God hates. And I keep thinking, “Have these people even read the New Testament, let alone the Old Testament?”

It feels like people are cherry-picking the Old Testament to judge as many people as they can, then putting Jesus’ name on that judgment claiming when Jesus said he wasn’t changing one law that he meant it’s okay to judge, and hate, and oppress, and even murder because the Old Testament says so. Bu, again, they’re taking the Old Testament itself out of context. And then they make excuses for why other parts of it are allegory or whatever excuse they want to say you can ignore the passages that you don’t like, like keeping Sabbath holy: apparently that’s no longer required, nor are most of the Ten Commandments except if you can use it to oppress others.

Doesn’t the New Testament say however you judge others God will judge you? And to love your neighbor as yourself? I’m pretty sure I read those in there, maybe not. Jesus was a Liberal all day long. Sorry, but it’s true. What I gathered from the New Testament and the teachings of Jesus the many, many times I read every single word, and took notes, and did research, was it is a sort of manual for life if you will. It’s not a super-complicated one at that, which is why Jesus had those two most important rules about loving God and your neighbor. The problem with conservatives I think is they think love is conditional and transactional, and it isn’t. So, for example, they see poor people, maybe sick, maybe starving, and they find that one passage in the Bible about people that wont work and use that to browbeat everyone in those positions completely ignoring the hundreds of times in the Old and New Testaments where it basically says you are BLESSED if you help those around you that need help. I mean how hard is it to leave the world a better place like a Boy Scout does for a camp site?

The recent shooting in Texas has conservatives all over the internet saying the most vile things about the people, and coming right out and saying they deserved it because God blessed America and they allegedly came here illegally, and that was punishment from God. And I’m sorry, but if that’s how the Christian god works I want no part of that religion. Like every time there’s a tornado or some other disaster they say stuff like “Abortion”, “LGBTQ rights” god is angry. I mean did they read about Noah at all and the rainbow and what it means? One of the things that always bugged me about church was everyone shows up for communion, very few people put anything on the offering plate, fewer still volunteer, and right after go right back to focusing on things like how much money they can have because apparently it’s easier for a RICH MAN to get into Heaven than a poor man to pass through they eye of a needle, and yes, I know I changed that.

Humanity seems really in trouble right now, more broadly in the world, but specifically here in the U.S. If Jesus ever did come back, if he came back as a mortal like once before, I am 100% convinced he’d get locked up in Gitmo, or deported if he showed up here. And I’m not bein hyperbolic about that.

I feel like giving up on Politics.

— I feel like giving up on politics sometimes. The rhetoric from the Right is overwhelming at times, and other times overwhelmingly stupid. Like the kitty-litter issue that’s a non-issue that’s all over the internet right now. Or politicians saying they will only accept winning as a fair election. What’s the point in engaging? Both sides are set in their ways, there’s zero room for compromise, so there doesn’t seem to be any point in having discussions in the public forum. It’s also why more and more I think the Blue states should just become their own country, and let the Red states do the same. With a giant wall between the two. Even if we did that I have a theory how that would work out: without Blue state taxes, or Blue state common sense, it wouldn’t be long till the Red states were trying to invade to take over. The only difference is it’d be a conflict like India vs Pakistan, two nuclear powers.

Most of what I read from republicans I just don’t agree with. Their obsession with Trans athletes and bathrooms, banning books, banning Black history, banning abortion, banning sex education and birth control, their war on education, especially science, their idea of continually cutting taxes at the very top, outspending Democrats every single time they’re in office, especially deficit-spending, which they love, their war against minorities, against women, against Jews and Muslims, against the LGBTQ community, trying to force Christianity on everyone; they’re even against the police except on those rare occasions they’re attacking unarmed minorities. I just don’t see the point. Democrats and Republicans have two entirely different worldviews. We want the U.S. to ideally wind up looking like Japan, while keeping our military, of course. Republicans seem to want us to look like Greece. We want to evolve past things like the gun obsession, the war on drugs, and the prison industry, while Republicans want to grow all those things. Even the moderates can’t get anything done because the base of both parties won’t allow it.

So why bother engaging at all? Maybe it’s time to step back, and just say, “Screw it. Let it all burn if it has to.” And, yes, that’s really cynical, but I’m not going to change my views and I doubt they will, either, so what’s left? I really don’t see any point in engaging with them any more. I honestly think a lot of them are stupid. Which I suppose is a good thing because you can cure stupid with education, but a significant portion of them are dumb, and there’s no cure for that. Those people are terminal. We don’t look down on you just to be assholes, we look down on you when we hear you say things like you reject the science of a vaccine because you heard it causes Autism or makes you drop dead later on, but then you want US to put OUR faith in some fucking imaginary sky person you say is controlling the universe.

And the thing that really pisses us off about that is YOU don’t know your own religion. I’m not going to rattle off a bunch of scripture, but notice how Republicans, who are allegedly Christian, only quote from the Old Testament. That is the God they follow, not the New Testament God that Jesus allegedly came to bring the good news about. And WHY? Because New Testament God preached things like compassion, charity, forgiveness, LOVE, all things Republicans have no time for. Not once does it say abortion is illegal in the Bible. It does however mention giving women accused of adultery “bitter waters” to induce abortion in the Old Testament. Yet they use the Bible to claim abortion is against God’s will.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say being Trans is in any way wrong. Not even in the Old Testament. The problem here being most Republicans don’t even know what Trans is. They’re assuming it means cross-dressing, not that the Bible has any problem with that, either. And they assume it means Men will become Trans to have sex with little kids. Again, it doesn’t, but your Old Testament did allow for the marriage of girls as young as age three, so you might want to ban that book. Just like the Bible gave the green light for slavery and rape. Republicans seem to think they meant Black slaves, but the Bible doesn’t make that distinction. And on the subject of Rape, it’s clearly frowned-upon by the Bible, but could be overcome if you paid your victim’s father 50 silver pieces and forced her to marry you. Then all is forgiven. Your book, not mine. But by all means, ban Catcher In the Rye for being obscene. Idiots.

The New Testament even has Jesus hanging out with young naked boys it says he “knew“, which in that language means he had carnal knowledge of them, but no one talks about that. And they should. If Jesus was Gay it should be celebrated, not shunned. His second-most important Commandment was love your neighbor as yourself, which again, most Republicans wouldn’t know, because they didn’t read it. They skimmed. They just cherry-picked the Old Testament for passages to justify being complete assholes to other people, and fixated on the “Judge not” part of the New Testament for when they themselves fuck up. The Bible doesn’t work that way. It’s not pick and choose, and you can’t ignore 95% of it and think by asking forgiveness your fairy tale deity will grant it. Assuming for half a minute your God is real, it says right in it God knows what’s in your heart and however you judge others YOU will be judge by God.

We, being curious, and open-minded often read religious texts to broaden our horizons, and so we know what we’re talking about when the subject comes up. Personally, I have read every single word in the Bible three times in my life. Three times I read it front to back. My Bible is full of notes, things I looked up. I even had companion texts like the Angel Scrolls, which I’m betting most of you have never even heard of, and are now googling it.

So Republicans use stuff like this to oppress other people, like they use rhetoric about Marx, and Hitler as if that’s what Democrats want. If anything, Republicans are more like Nazis than we are. Pretty much everything the Nazis believed in, so do Republicans. The Nazis hated women’s rights, they hated equal rights, they hated worker’s rights, they favored the corporations, oligarchs, and the military. They hated other religions, they hated free speech, they banned and burned books, they especially hated Jews, and their party color was Red. Be honest: that sounds like Republicans, right? Just because the word Socialist is in the name “Nazi” doesn’t make them Democrats any more than North Korea is Democratic. It’s just a name.

Republicans only seem to care about guns, money, and power. And making everyone else as miserable as they can. Seeing other people suffer, seeing other people lose rights makes them happy. And I just don’ see how we can ever work with people like that.

Hope

The thing that gets me is Republicans think we want to “play it safe” as some sort of scam. Just because we believe in science and medicine, while you prefer to pray to imaginary people in the sky doesn’t make us the nuts. But let’s say your deity were real: Don’t you think they’d tell you they created ALL humans, including the doctors and scientists, and that they gave them the gifts of healing and knowledge to protect the rest of us?

You act as if we want you to get sick and die from this. We want the opposite of that (unlike how most of you think of us). We want you to be safe. We don’t have to agree with your politics or even like you personally to not want you to suffer or even die from this. It’s called being human, and compassionate. We have empathy for you. The struggle you’re going through, we’re all going through, but we’re willing to do it to prevent needless deaths. And when you minimize that by saying things like more people die in car accidents, you miss the point. You can choose to not drive or be in a car and avoid that risk. You can’t avoid this. You can lower your risk greatly, though, and lower it for everyone else by doing what they’re asking us to do.

And if those models are correct, three times as many of our people could die in a year if we do this wrong than died in World War 2. That’s a lot more than people who die in car crashes or any other way. So we get pissed when you sit there telling other people they need to follow our laws, like illegals, but when you have towns and states passing laws to protect us and you say you’re not going to obey them, you put us all at much greater risk, and look like hypocrites in the process, as if laws are for other people, not you.

So, again, if you die by your own hands, as long as you don’t risk other people’s lives, I’m fine with that. More oxygen and food for the rest of us. But I’m not wishing it on you. I’m hoping you do the right thing. I’m hoping you stay safe, and keep your family safe. I’m hoping.

Haters on other sites need to stop lying about me online.

First of all, anything you write about my past is just that: my past. I’m not going to get into it here on my own blog, but nothing in my past has anything to do with any job let alone delivering pizza or owning a pizza place. And if you try to post any of that crap on my blog you should know this blog is moderated by me, so any personal information will be deleted. Feel free to post it on your own site, but I pay for this one.

Here are a few things I will dispel for anyone that read some drivel like at gregspages: Contrary to what Greg and a few other people posted, I did NOT mistreat my employees. Some people said I paid less than minimum wage. Yeah, that’s true, but they had the OPTION of being 1099 employees or getting a paycheck. They CHOSE to be cash employees and I paid them $8 an hour (someone idiot said $7) which is a lot more than they would have taken home had they taken a check. Someone said I didn’t give them mileage reimbursement. That’s also complete bullshit. I paid them $1 a delivery, even if it was across the street. I didn’t have to use the IRS rate since they were independent contractors that made their own hours. Had I used it they would have gotten a lot less considering all the runs were close. Take 3 runs in a mile radius and wind up with maybe 1 mile logged that’s like $1.50. Or you could have the $3 I gave for 3 runs. Use your brains people. These same idiots said I mistreated drivers. Bullshit. They had two things to do when there were no runs: make boxes and sweep and mop once at the end of the night. If you call that abuse I call you a dick. It was part of their contracted job. Ask any waitress if they get to do nothing when there’s no customers. Nope. I had two work stations with internet access and they and the phone girls could watch video, play games, use the internet, whatever if there wasn’t any work. My cook started at $10 an hour and my pizza guy at $13. REAL abusive, right? Everyone made their own schedule. I never once told anyone when they had to work. They told me when they wanted to work and I put them down. Know any jobs like that? They also got off whatever days they needed, I never had drivers on snowy days at all, and they could call out sick without fear of getting fired. One guy played guitar in the store, and also took the occasional nap in the back. I’m evil, I know. Oh, and everyone got free food and drinks all the time. It didn’t matter if you worked 4 hours or 10. Yeah, I did fire three people. One for getting high while he did deliveries, one for flat out refusing to work at all while he was there, and one who stopped showing up. That’s hardly abuse.

Someone said I publicly stated that I was evading taxes. Another blatant lie. Just because you print it doesn’t mean it’s true. I can back up what I’m saying, can you? I mean you’d think there’d be some sort of record if you thought you had proof. I paid sales taxes, payroll taxes, unemployment taxes, and income taxes. That’s something else: someone said I wasn’t paying insurance. Where do you idiots get this? I paid over $600 a month for my business insurance which covered drivers, employees, the business itself, and disability. You DO know you need all this to open legally, right? I also had a food service license, and passed all my inspections. I was even a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Feel free to look up whatever of that’s public record. The place was called Semper Pie Pizza in Wallingford. And yeah, I closed, I made a lot of mistakes, but it wasn’t from treating employees badly or not paying insurance or any of that. I made some very poor choices with things like spending. Lesson learned. But at least I had the balls to ante up and give it a shot and am in the process of starting another business in a few months. How many of you haters have gotten out from behind that keyboard and tried running your own business? None of you? Okay then, shut the fuck up.

P.S. If you actually take the time to cyber-stalk me like Greg said he was going to do from his page, there’s more than a few things wrong with you. First of all, if you have nothing better to do than follow someone else around online, that’s just sad. Second, if you actually think that you know my email addresses, you don’t, you just happen to know some of the public ones. Third, if you actually think you can somehow get people or women to shun me like a leper, you need real help. I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess you have problems in the bedroom or you’re really ugly, or have some sort of disability and this is how you let the world know you’re pissed at it. If none of that’s true, you’re just a sad, sad individual that really needs to get a life and stop looking towards others to feel like you have one. Know how many people I follow around the internet? None. Know how stupid it is to think you can actually ruin a person’s life online? Very. Aside from all of that, I never did anything to any of you personally so this “vendetta” you have is just silly. You have to be republicans. Only republicans do this sort of this: latch onto people they don’t like and run with it. Like how every right-winger in CT hangs onto one stupid thing Blumenthal said years ago and just will not let it go even though their former Fuhrer himself said he served in Vietnam when he was AWOL the whole time. You ever hear us harping on that stuff? Nope. But people here take it personally, like they REALLY don’t like him as a person and they smear him online as much as possible years later. And years later some of you idiots are STILL following me around online. What’s it been 6 years now? You don’t see how that’s obsessive childish bullshit that you need help with? Imagine if you knew someone that told you that was happening to them: wouldn’t you think the other person was a psycho? And what have I done that the majority of your republican leaders haven’t? I haven’t done half the stuff they have and you love them. And you’re still all fixated on the past. I guess this is why the republican party keeps losing voters: they look backwards while everyone else looks ahead.
The scary thing is you might wake up one day, realize you’re 75 years old and still stalking people online. The thing you’re really mad at is a different opinion. Yeah, I don’t agree with you. That’s what got all this started on TTPG: I didn’t agree with what the elitists said so they had to make it their mission in life to try to destroy me. It hasn’t worked and to my knowledge not one of my real life friends have ever read a single word you guys said. But the elitists believe things like pizza delivery guys should have no side work, no signs on their cars, no uniforms, should be allowed to carry guns, should have whatever they want, as cushy a job as possible and be paid $30 an hour for it, fuck you that’s just stupid. You go open your own pizza place with your own money and get back to us on how much you go out of your way to sink all your profits into a driver instead of just paying them fairly and treating them well. The pizza driver doesn’t make the business. Sorry. A place could just not deliver and those people wouldn’t have a job. I mean if you’re too much of a snob to fold boxes, you probably shouldn’t be working. Business owners don’t go into business wondering how rich they can make their employees for the least amount of work. That’s just dumb. You go into business to succeed. Part of that is having successful employees, but none of that’s pissing away your entire investment to make sure they reap all the benefits and you get none. When employees are offered private stock and want to pay the owner some of his investment back in exchange for profits THEN they’re entitled to more than what’s fair. Not before that you self-righteous assholes. I dare you to find a place that paid as well as I did and was as relaxed as my place was. You wont find any, and I remember people posting how they thought the businesses should provide cars and still offer mileage. Stuff that’s complete nonsense. Why would a business insure, and fuel a car, provide it to you at work then give you gas and mileage money on top of pay when you’re not maintaining the car in any way? That’s just dumb. And $30 an hour? Get real. Comments like that I’ll disagree with all day long. But again, let’s see you open a place and hire drivers, pay them well over $10 an hour plus the IRS mileage rate, and have them do absolutely nothing at work but take deliveries. Until you actually do that you need to shut up about what you expect.
If I had to do it again I’d offer limited delivery and do them myself. I am the fastest driver in any town. This way no drivers would have to be taken advantage of by getting a higher wage than anyone else paid with all the tedious work like folding the occasional box and I’d save money in every area. Because that’s better, right? Better to not employ someone than have them sweep and mop at the end of the night. You guys are complete assholes if you think so and also have no clue as to how to run a restaurant. You need to google “side-work”, you need to get help with your stalking issues, and you need to get a life.
